The context for that question was my tossing, last Saturday, a surprise early birthday "Little Sandwiches Party" for John into the mix of getting ready for this trip and on the heels of 3 days packed solidly with UNB Encaenia ceremonies and festivities, here and in Saint John. As it turned out, the LSParty was a huge hit and well worth the little bit of extra effort.

I'm now asking myself the same question as I sit on the phone with Garmin (for the last ... 45 (? at least) minutes trying to download the newest version of MapSource and unlock the maps in my netbook. I was in the midst of looking at clothes to pack when it occurred to me to fire up the netbook and check out the maps - something I'd forgotten to do on Sunday evening when I was installing the wireless (another 1+ hour phone call - that time with 'Carlo' in the Phillipines). Why did I leave this stuff to the 11th hour?!

The good news is that the Zumo got me to the vet's in Oromocto and home this afternoon with its existing maps. Although.... John's traffic circle by the Timmy's seem to throw it for a loop - no pun intended ;-). Once I got us onto the highway, Zumo recalculated and got us home.

Must take The Girls for a little walk while the Garmin download hums along and John washes my car....
